To design and produce an airport video advertisement that promoted The Shops at La Cantera as a premiere shopping destination for travelers visiting San Antonio, Texas.

INSIGHT

Typically speaking, I’m not usually drawn to motion graphics projects that feature dizzying, staccato cuts and spastic animation. Not because I don’t find the style appealing (I actually do) but because it’s usually adapted for its trend appeal and nothing more. Very little consideration is made in how the animation style will enhance or complement what the subject matter is trying to convey. However, that particular style was appropriate for this project considering the video was intended to play on airport screens and the style perfectly matched the frenetic energy found in any major airport.
